Help Before you purchase a show, you can get a short synopsis of what the show is about by selecting the show on the main menu.
After you have made your selection you will be offered either a short survey (for public service shows) or a credit card form (for VHS-quality versions of the show).
Fill out the survey or credit card form as applicable and hit the START THE SHOW button.
In most cases, the show will initialize your Windows Media Player application automatically and start playing after a short pause (while the show buffers in your computer). If you don't have Windows Media Player on your system, you will have to go here to get a copy of it. Once your entire show has downloaded, you should be able to re-play it as many times as you wish without further delays. If you want to play the show in full screen mode, go to the tool bar located at the upper left of Windows Media Player and select View/Full Screen AFTER the show starts playing.
It is possible to play shows intended for (a little) higher data rates (k or kbps) than your connection provides -- you just have to wait longer. Broadband versions will require a faster connection (such as DSL, a cable modem or corporate LAN) and there is a small, one-time charge for these shows (which will appear on your credit card statement).
You are welcome to keep any of these shows for your personal library by saving them to your hard drive (or to a CD).
