dNa DevelopMent, a division of Matrixx Entertainment Corporation, has developed a medium- to high-budget feature-length motion picture primarily intended for domestic and foreign theatrical, home video, cable and free TV markets. The Company has arranged financing from the private capital markets for the initial development and packaging of the project which includes, to date, a third draft screenplay and indications of interest from a major director, two studios and one major independent production company.
dNa DevelopMent is looking for an active partner who will finance the balance of sums itemized in the Development Budget and who will receive associate producer screen credit (hereinafter "Associate Producer") in consideration for such financing and supervisory duties plus:
We will pre-sell foreign rights for the sum of $40,000 (as an advance against proceeds of distribution) with the provisio that you grant Matrixx Entertainment, or its assign, a free option to re-purchase this territory for the sum of the advance (plus 40% APR) within two years. This offer shall remain open until August 15, 1998.
This project, with all elements including the option on the life-story/book, The Back Room (as distinct from the purchase of the book), screenplay drafts, budgets, indications of interest and contracted elements), is available for outright purchase for the sum of $295,000, negotiable participation and two producer screen credits. This offer shall remain open until August 31, 1998.
