MIDNIGHT RIDE The script for MIDNIGHT RIDE is now completed. We have changed the subtitle from "When Tyrants, Bankers and Mainstream Media Infringe the Second Amemdment" to "When Rogue Politicians Call for Martial Law".
We are now in production of a Trailer and busy packaging the film. So far Walter Reddy and Rosie Haas have completed interviews for the film.
MIDNIGHT RIDE will explore what would happen if abuse of the dollar -- the world's de facto reserve currency -- causes the U.S. financial system to crash. The film -- inspired Dr. Edwin Vieira's book, BY TYRANNY OUT OF NECESSITY: The Bastardy of Martial Law -- takes a serious look at the potential resulting civil unrest and what the Federal Government might try to do about it. CHATTERBAND - 8 CAMERA SHOOT On 23 May 2014, Matrix Productions did a shoot of THE CHATTERBAND at TWENTY9 in Malvern. We had previously done a small test shoot at TWENTY9, but this recent shoot was an 8-camera shoot. If MOS cameras are included, this was an 11-camera shoot. DEVON HORSE SHOW Also done is the six-day, 2-year shoot of the Devon Horse Show in Devon, PA. Devon is the largest and most prestigious horse show in the U.S. and arguably the world. ON THE MAIN LINE Our low-budget feature project, GOING OUT, has been re-written and renamed ON THE MAIN LINE. ON will be a black comedy about life on the wealthy, "blue-blood" Main Line outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Written and directed by James Jaeger, the 90-minute film will feature local acting talents, both professional and not.
Jaeger grew up in Devon, one of the dozen towns along the Main line and went to The Haverford School also one of the towns along the Main Line. ON THE MAIN LINE will feature the Devon Horse Show and other local places in the production.
ON is based on the short film entitled THE PICKUP, written and directed by James Jaeger, which successfully played to audiences in California.
Matrix Productions is looking for ten producing partners who will each contribute the sum of $25,000 for the production budget of the film, such anticipated to be a modest $250,000. If you are interested in participating in this project, you can read the screenplay here and contact us here.
Jaeger's previous feature, SNAPSHOT BLUES, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, Mifed and AFM and has been screened and purchased by over 1 million people from around the world. Jaeger also won a Telly Award for his documentary, FIAT EMPIRE, starring Ron Paul, which was the #1 film on the Internet for a period of 4 months.
THE SPIRIT OF TESLA Another production Matrix completed was a conference held by the Tesla Science Foundation at the New Yorker Hotel on 11 January 2014. This hotel was the last place Nikola Tesla lived before he passed away.

This feature-length documentary was inspired by Edwin Vieira's 2,300-page book, The Sword and Sovereignty, now available at Amazon.com. Kris Chandler did the narration for MOLON LABE and the production design was done by Warren Jaeger. Production design included all of the major art elements, including the website, one-sheet, DVD box, DVD disc, DVD wrap, all title elements for the movie and the trailer. At only 17 years old, Warren is already in high demand by Hollywood studios and the handful of exclusive boutique firms that service them. ECOSPHERES A final polish of ECOSPEHERS has been completed and sent to our contact-executive at WARNER BROS. as a "first draft" screenplay. Conceived in 1985 as "MOONSTONE," the first draft of the story was submitted to Lindsay Doran, then VP Production, PARAMOUNT PICTURES. Ms. Doran encouraged development of the story into a screenplay which was completed around 1993 by James Jaeger and his staff at dNa DevelopMent, a division of Matrix Entertainment.
The premise of MOONSTONE, renamed ECOSPHERES, is very similar to BREAKING BAD, only ECOSPHERES takes place in outer space, ostensibly 500 years in the future.
Complete with a "Heisenberg" -- who heads up the Federated Nations at Capital City, Moon -- ECOSPHERES is a story of two, off-beat brothers, Gary and Gil Godard, who discover a way to make pure gold out of led using a "moonstone" given to them by their austranaut father.
Gary and Gill -- characters very similar to Jesse Pinkman and Walter White -- team up and purchase a large van to set up a mobile chemistry lab so they can "cook" gold and keep out of the clutches of the authorities. Soon their empire becomes so hugh they are literally able to purchase the entire Establishment of Earth. Does this sound like the BRAKING BAD theme? If it does, keep in mind ECOSPHERES was written in 1985 and the 8th draft of the screenplay was completed around 1995. BREAKING BAD premiered on January 20, 2008.
Maybe this is a coinsodence -- good ideas are always in the air. It does not matter; if audiences liked BREAKING BAD, they will like ECOSPHERES.

TESLA - THE POET OF ELECTRICITY James Jaeger met with a special advisory board and the board of directors of the Tesla Science Foundation on 24 September and 03 October 2010, respectively, to go over the screenplay and explain what challenges have been faced in the research, writing and development-financing of this important motion picture about the life of Nikola Tesla. The Tesla Science Foundation, under the leadership of president Nikola Lonchar and chairman David Vuich, has quickly grown to be the largest Tesla association in the United States.

TESLA TESLA - The Poet of Electricity has undergone many years of research and writing and we believe it's the most authoritative and interesting version of Nikola Tesla's incredible life to date.
As of Spring 2009, we have taken this project to three major studios all of which have reviewed the screenplay and recommended it for production pending the official attachment of a suitable name director. We have also taken this project to a number of name directors who have reviewed the screenplay and indicated their interest in participating in this project when it is set up at a studio. LEE GARMES INTERVIEW One of the most accomplished filmmakers in the Golden Era of Hollywood, Lee Garmes, has 111 features to his credit (14 for producing and directing and 97 for cinematography). Although officially unaccredited, Lee Garmes photographed a considerable portion of GONE WITH THE WIND.
Mr. Garmes directed the photography on six films nominated for an Academy Award and won an Academy Award for SHANGHAI EXPRESS. A brilliant experimenter, Lee Garmes, made many technical contributions to the industry and received the Eastman Kodak Award twice.
